TELE-MEDICINE SERVICES
“If tele-medicine replaced 30 to 40% of in-person outpatient consultations, India could save up to $10 billion and improve care for the poor and those living in remote areas. Tele-medicine could replace half of in-person outpatient consultations in India, and an accelerated implementation plan could enable the country to tap 60 to 80% of this potential by 2025,” the report said.
Today there are tens of millions of Indians living in remote corners of the country who don’t have access to some of the basic amenities, like Medical Facility. There is a dearth of Doctors visiting the Rural areas. Tele-medicine helps in easing the clinical problems from distance especially for distant rural communities. These services helps patients get Medical advice when most needed, save travel and wait time as this they can consult a doctor at their own convenience and at the comfort of their Village.
We , at Rahini Foundation have initiated this Intervention by identifying a remote Village, and a panel of Doctors will be our resource. Villagers will get Medical Advice in time, and they need not move out and travel distances when sick. At a given specific time , in a given specific place the doctors will check the patients with help of para medical staff located in the Village
